Tank Installation

Rent a tank from us.  If you do not already have a tank, you can rent one of ours.  We will check the size of your home, what appliances are being used, and determine the size of tank that will suit you best.  Already have a tank and want to switch it our for another one?  We can handle that too!  For commercial and agricultural applications, give us a call so we can discuss your needs.

Tank rental payments are billed on January 1 each year.

How it Works

Step 1

Do you already have a tank, or your home has never had one?  Just give us a call.  If you already have a tank, we can switch it out.  This usually takes less than an hour unless we run into an unforeseen situation.  If your home has never been on propane, we can get a tank installed, and connect that tank to your home.

Either way, give us a call.  During that call, we’ll discuss with you the size of your home, what appliances you use, etc.  This will give us an idea about the size of tank you need.  If you are switching our an existing tank, we’ll connect to your current yard line.  If this is a new install, we’ll need to install a line to connect your tank to your house – during the call, let us know how long that line needs to be (a new installation will take more time to complete the job).  With this information, we can give you a quote for the installation.

Quotes can differ slightly from the final amount due.  Some installations are easier or more difficult than initially anticipated.  For those reasons, your completed job cost may be slightly lower or slightly higher than the quote we give you.

Step 2

Stop by the office and sign a new lease agreement.  During this visit, you will decide if you prefer “Will Call” or “Keep Full” service.  We will explain those services in full so you can make the decision that’s right for you.  For tank replacements, the fee needs to be paid in full before, or the day of, the tank installation.  For new tank installations, our service man will complete the job ticket on-site after the installation is complete – payment is due in full on that day.  For propane deliveries, we can set up a payment plan or automatic payments with a credit card on file.

Step 3

We schedule a date and time for delivery.  Somebody needs to be home during the installation so we have access to what we need to complete the installation.

Step 4

You’re all set!  Enjoy your new propane service.

RV Tank Installations

Because of several liabilities, we do NOT do tank installations for recreational vehicles.  We can fill portable bottles for you, and can even help you with new hoses and fittings.  Drop by or give us a call.
